1. What is an imaging fiber?


1). The imaging fiber is a microstructured, ultra-multi-core fiber, with each core serving as a pixel. It is the core component of the medical device endoscope system. In the national standard, the fiber optic component must be replaced every 10 times of use. Compared with the glass fiber of the quartz series, the plastic imaging fiber has the advantages of low price, excellent flexibility, easy bending, easy processing, and high connection with components.

1. The plastic imaging optical fiber is composed of very fine single plastic optical fiber filaments arranged in a fixed order. The inner core of 7400 cores (7400 pixels) and 13000 cores (13000 pixels) needs to be in close contact with the target source when transmitting images. The diameter is larger than that of glass fibers. Thinner, better toughness, and suitable for image transmission in small and confined spaces, plastic pixel fibers are used in endoscopes and imaging fields, with lower cost and better flexibility than glass fibers.



3. What is glass image transmission fiber?

Fibers as small as 2.5 microns in size provide high quality image transmission and resolution. Combined with traditional optical coatings or scintillation coatings, our fibers deliver high-quality images from image enhancement to X-ray imaging, ensuring minimal distortion and transmission loss
